Huiyu Pi is a locally deployed application. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data, code, API keys, or conversation history to our servers.
100% Local: All your data — including API keys, source code, chat history, and configuration — stays entirely on your local machine. Nothing is ever uploaded to the internet by Huiyu Pi.
Your API keys (for DeepSeek, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) are stored locally in ~/.pi/agent/auth.json. These keys are used solely to communicate with the respective AI providers you configure. Huiyu Pi never intercepts, logs, or forwards your keys to any third party.
Huiyu Pi connects directly from your machine to the AI providers you configure (e.g., DeepSeek, OpenAI, Anthropic). Your data flows directly between your device and the AI provider — Huiyu Pi acts as a local proxy and does not sit in the data path.
Huiyu Pi is fully open source under the MIT License. You can audit the entire codebase on GitHub to verify our privacy claims.
The Huiyu Pi application itself does not include any analytics, tracking, or telemetry. The landing page (smallmindmap.com) uses Google Analytics for aggregate traffic statistics only.
Huiyu Pi is a local open-source Agent tool built on pi and pi-forge. It provides a complete browser-based coding experience with multi-LLM support, file management, integrated terminal, Git integration, and MCP protocol support.
Compared to IDE tools like Codex and Claude Code, Huiyu Pi reduces default context and prompts from ~20K tokens to nearly zero, resulting in dramatically faster AI response times and lower token consumption.
